It's time for the third annual Garden Poetry Contest, and this year’s theme is “Better Times Ahead.” Send in your original poem of 10 lines or fewer that celebrates (or laments) your garden’s performance during last summer’s miserable drought.
The best submissions will be published in Newsday, and the Garden Detective's three favorites will get a token surprise in the mail.
