Irish pride swells on Long Island all month long in March, when St. Patrick's Day parades big and small are held across both counties. Wear your best green and celebrate at these local parades:

MARCH 1

BETHPAGE

The parade begins at Central Avenue west to Stewart Avenue, North to Burkhardt Avenue, to Broadway, south to the center of town.

The parade will begin in front of the East Islip Public Library and travel west along Main Street passing by the grandstand at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and ending at Irish Lane.

The Irish American Society of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Inc. kicks off its St. Patrick’s parade at Court House Drive and continues along Mineola Boulevard.

MARCH 7

KINGS PARK

The parade steps off at the corner of Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road, continues down Main Street, turns onto Church Street and ends down Old Dock Road at the William T. Rogers Middle School.

MARCH 8

HUNTINGTON VILLAGE

The parade starts north of Huntington train station along New York Avenue onto Main Street. The Huntington St. Patrick’s Parade is Long Island’s oldest and largest and features dozens of pipe bands, including some of the metro area’s finest.

MARCH 14

BAY SHORE-BRIGHTWATERS

The parade steps off on the corner of Saxon Avenue and Kempster Avenue to Main Street and down to St. Patrick’s Church. Procession will include vintage cars and walkers carrying Bay Shore Historical Society banner.

CUTCHOGUE

The parade will begin at Cox Lane, down Route 25, ending in Cutchogue Village.

NEW HYDE PARK

Parade route along Jericho Turnpike eastbound from Hillside Boulevard to the Fire Headquarters at Terrace Boulevard.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH

The parade steps off at the Westhampton Beach Middle School at the intersection of Mill Road and Oneck Lane, then travels southwest on Mill Road to Main Street, turns right to head west on Main Street and finishes at the intersection of Main Street and Sunset Avenue. The parade route is 1 mile long.

AMAGANSETT

This year’s Am-O’Gansett Parade proceeds down Main Street from the municipal parking lot. At the end of Main Street, it turns around and comes back up Main Street.

MASSAPEQUA

Kickoff starts on Broadway in Massapequa between Jerusalem Avenue and Veterans Boulevard.

ST. JAMES

Steps off from Woodlawn and Lake Avenues toward the St. James Gazebo.

MARCH 15

BLUE POINT

Parade runs from Montauk Highway and Snedecor Avenue to Montauk Highway and Blue Point Avenue.

CENTER MORICHES

Parade kicks off at Main Street and Lake Avenue, ending at Railroad Avenue.

Parade steps off from Northside School and proceeds south along Main Street to the Village Green in downtown Farmingdale.

WANTAGH

The parade kicks off from the municipal parking lot on North Sunrise Highway, to North Long Beach Road and proceeds down Maple, to North Park Avenue, proceeding to Quealy Place, ending on Washington Street.

Steps off Babylon Train Station on Colt Avenue, right on Deer Park Avenue, up North Carll Avenue and ends on Locust Avenue.

GLEN COVE

Kicks off at Finley Middle School, goes onto Forest Avenue, then follows Brewster Street to School Street. From there it moves onto Glen Street.

The parade starts at the intersection of East Main Street and Route 112 and heads west with the viewing stand located at the intersection of Havens Avenue and West Main.

RONKONKOMA

The parade will start on Hawkins Avenue at School Street, head south on Hawkins Avenue, ending at Thorne Street.

Route kicks off at North Railroad and Washington Avenues and ends at the Jamesport Firehouse.
