Anniversary: Iris and Alan Schoenfeld of Oceanside, 50 years

IRIS AND ALAN SCHOENFELD, of Oceanside, were wed Dec. 16, 1973, at the South Baldwin Jewish Center during an ice storm. They met on a blind date in February 1972. Alan is a financial adviser and Iris is a retired teacher. They have two children and three grandchildren. They celebrated with a family trip to Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.
