Kidsday: Barbie Wii for the wee
We tested the new video game Barbie Jet Set & Style (THQ for the Wii). Our biggest complaint about the game was how long it took to upload it -- more than 30 minutes! Once that is done, the fun begins if you like fashion. It's fun to play, and you can change Barbie's hair color, makeup and clothes. As you get better with the styling, you can move up to the next level, where it gets to be a little more challenging.
We liked the colorful graphics, and we think girls around age 5 will like that the most. We wish there were more choice of fashions for dressing Barbie. We think it is best for kids 8 and younger.

201 Barbies, and counting
It's been 91/2 years since I got my first Barbie doll. I have been collecting them ever since. I would get them as gifts from relatives and friends or buy them myself. Now I am almost 11, and I have 201 Barbies. The main reason I have so many is because I have a little sister who shares them with me. Now that I am older, I don't really like playing with Barbies as much, but I sure have one heck of a collection!

Proud of the jewelry I make
Jewelry prices have skyrocketed lately, but there is a way to avoid all the harsh prices. At Michaels craft stores (michaels. com), you might find a wall of beads. This is the first step in making your own jewelry. The people at Michaels are very helpful, and they will guide you through the steps of making jewelry. I love making jewelry because I love putting beads together and picking out the colors. Lots of people give me compliments on my jewelry, and many more people are surprised when I tell them I made it myself. I think my jewelry shows my individuality.
