Kidsday: 'CSI: The Experience'
Have you ever wanted to be a CSI Investigator and solve crimes? If this sounds interesting, you should go to "CSI: The Experience," a traveling exhibit in Times Square.
We got a preview of the new exhibit. It's really cool, and you can learn a lot, too! Three different crime scenes are set up. One crime scene is recommended for ages 10 and up. The other two crime scenes are recommended for ages 12 and up.
First, we investigated the crime scene. We had an evidence page, and we circled what we saw on the page. We also took notes. We went to another station so we could figure out which bullet lines matched our bullet lines.
There are lots of stations to help you with your evidence. You have to go to the ones that match your crime scene. There are people there to help you if you have questions. Just look for the people with the CSI hats.
There was an autopsy room. In the room, there were tables with white mannequins. One was wearing a hat. There are projectors set up so you can see what scientists look for in an autopsy.
Another station shows how scientists can use a skeleton to figure out what the person's face looked like. Toward the end, we stopped in supervisor Gil Grissom's office. We got to take a picture there. Then, we went to some computers and put our information in.
We had to see if we could figure out what happened to our victim. We were able to figure it out. After you figure it out, you get a diploma from CSI.
We really liked "CSI: The Experience." It wasn't completely set up when we were there (we went on the press preview day), but it should be all set when you make your visit. We really would love to go back again to see it when it is all set up. We think you should go, too!
After we went, Patrick and Abby even said that they would love to be investigators when they get older. CSI: The Experience

Video game review: Labyrinth
I think Labyrinth (Mentor Interactive for the Nintendo DS) is an exciting video game because it challenges your mind. The object is to find treasures in a variety of mazes. You have to shift tiles to make a path to get to your treasures before your opponents reach theirs.
This game is great for kids ages 7 and older. You can play with up to three other players.
