Kidsday: Tossing around some fun
We tested Washer and Beanbag Toss (Sportcraft). We liked the beanbag toss part of the game the best. Abby played it with her sister and she liked it, too. When you do the beanbag toss, you have to toss the beanbag into the circle and, if you do, you get two points. If it lands on the board, you only get one point. If the beanbag lands on the ground you get zero points. The washers are the same. All you do is try to get the washer into the circle and you can get the same points as if you used the beanbag. We liked this because you have to concentrate to get it right.

I tried Toss and Hook Washers (Sportcraft). It can be played indoors or outdoors. The game has six washers, three for each player. You get points by throwing the washers in the cups. You can get one point or three points, depending on the difficulty. If you get the washer on the hook, you win! It comes in its own carrying case.

Let's shake on that
We played Shake It Up! -- a handshake game (grandcamp.com). It's mostly a game of different handshakes, but it's also a puzzle. There are three levels of play. In one level, you copy handshakes that are printed on the cards. In another level, you try to make up your own handshake. In the last level, you create a floor puzzle with the pictures on the backs of the cards. We had a hard time copying some of the difficult handshakes, but we did have fun.

Bonkers for bangle bracelets
I love bangle bracelets! I started collecting them when I was 2. Bangle bracelets can be found everywhere and they come in different sizes and colors. I have metal, glass and plastic bangles. All my relatives have given me bracelets for my collection. Some of my favorite bangles are the ones I received when I was younger. I feel bad when some of my beautiful bangles get too small and I can't wear them anymore. But, I will never give them up. I guess I'll just have to keep buying new bangles!
