We visited the kitchen of The Cupcake Corner to find out how they make their cupcakes every morning, This shop, at 61 New Hyde Park Rd., Garden City, has a very friendly, cute and creative atmosphere. The workers were nice and friendly, especially Sam Householder, the worker who helped us. We were told about how the chefs decorate the cupcakes. The cupcakes look great, and you can tell that the chefs work really hard on the decorating.

The Cupcake Corner might be known for its cupcakes, but its other products are just as great. On our visit, we tried four types of cupcakes, ice cream and a cookie. Our first cupcake was the Cotton Candy cupcake. It was a good cupcake, but the icing was very sweet. (We rate it 3 smiles.) We tried the Red Velvet (5 smiles). We thought it was the best cupcake! Another good one was Cookies and Cream. The frosting was good, but had a strong aftertaste (4 smiles).

The last cupcake we tasted was the French Toast with Bacon cupcake. We didn't like this cupcake as much as the others. It is not a cupcake for people who don't like bacon. This cupcake probably isn't the best choice for dessert, but it would probably be good for someone who likes cupcakes for breakfast (2 smiles).

We also tried the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream (5 smiles). This was very good and was homemade. We liked the chocolate chip cookie and some candy which is made locally at Nassau Candy in Hicksville.

You can have your birthday party here, or you can take fun classes. Some classes offered are cupcake and gingerbread decorating. These fun classes and parties are held at The Cupcake Corner Too, which is located across the street.

In addition, every Tuesday from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. they have tea, also held at "The Cupcake Corner Too." They don't just have cupcakes, they also have breakfast (on weekends) and lunch. Overall, we loved The Cupcake Corner. You can contact them at 516-328-2253, or learn more online at thecupcakecornergc .com.

DanceDanceRevolution II

DanceDanceRevolution II (Konami for the Wii) is a game that challenges your feet.

We have mixed opinions on this game: we liked it, but we didn't love it.

We were hoping it would be more challenging. We wanted a better workout. There are different levels of songs, but there's not a different level of dances. You could definitely do better.

If you're looking for a challenge; you're better off with playing Just Dance 2!
