Kidsday: When sharks fly
We got the chance to put together and try the Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark.
We tested out the shark, but there is also a clown fish. William Mark Corp., the manufacturer, says that it's good for ages 8 and up. If you are a fan of flying things with a remote control, this is something you might enjoy.
We found it to be a challenge to put together. It needs helium. We think the bigger problem is it is very delicate and parts can be easily broken, so be very careful. We checked it out on YouTube, and it showed the balloon shark moving easily. Ours did not seem to fly so smoothly. We suggest you give yourself lots of time to practice and be patient! We both agree it is very cool looking, but looks alone should not be the reason to buy it.

Video game review: Ben 10 Galactic Racing
If you are a Ben 10 fan and you like racing action, then Ben 10 Galactic Racing (D3 Publishing) for the Nintendo DS is the game for you. You can race in more than 30 different karts across 25 tracks. You can choose from 15 characters to race as, including Ben or Kevin or some of his alien forms. The game takes a lot of practice but is fun. If you like the cartoon, you will like this game, too. You can make up your own adventures as you race across the universe.
