LI FamFest brings performances, activities to Brookville

More than 50 exhibitors are scheduled to participate in LI FamFest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17 at Long Island University’s Pratt Recreational Center, 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville.
The family festival will offer activities and performances, including a live reptile and wildlife show by the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery; hip-hop dance movement with Glen Dance Studio and Kidville; a daylong arts & crafts zone with Not Just Art and more. There will also be live performances by musicians, magicians and clowns and an inflatables zone.
Parents will meet providers of after-school programs (including sports, martial arts and music), nutritionists, Mommy & Me activities and more.
Tickets are $25 per family (two adults and up to four children) in advance at LIFamFest.com and $30 at the door. Code FFPRE offers $5 off the price online. Ticket purchasers will leave the event with free samples in a gift bag.
