Long Island Chrysanthemum Society Show this weekend

The Long Island Chrysanthemum Society will be holding its annual show this weekend -- Saturday, Oct. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hicks Nurseries in Westbury. Colorful and unusual chrysanthemums grown by members of the society will be on display as they compete for prizes. And if you have questions about growing your own, members will be on hand to offer advice.
