Price cut for site of the Polo Challenge

The asking price for the 115-acre Two Trees Farm, famous for hosting the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge each season, has been reduced to $55 million. It had been listed for $75 million.

In addition to the change, a horse farm, seen above, that is part of the Bridgehampton property is being offered separately for $22 million.

GLASS HOUSE

Manhattan interior designer Eric Cohler recently reduced the price of his Old Westbury estate to $4.599 million. The glass house was built in 1938 by modernist architect Edward Durell Stone for A. Conger Goodyear, the founder and first president of the Museum of Modern Art.

The house had been listed for $4.9 million. "I've spent the past four years restoring every detail of the house, from the simple to the ridiculous," Cohler says.

Emma Iacovone and Janet Mondor of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate have the listing.

A WHITE HOUSE

A 7-acre estate in Lattingtown built in 1913 and designed by architect Stanford White has come on the market for $3.999 million.

Over the years, the home has been host to many commercials, photo shoots and even a made-for-television NBC movie about the heiress Gloria Vanderbilt, "Little Gloria . . . Happy at Last," starring Bette Davis.

"It was a very interesting experience, from seeing Bill Cosby eating Jell-O in my kitchen to watching Christopher Plummer, who was appearing on Broadway at the time, being whisked-off in a helicopter each afternoon for his 8 p.m. curtain call," says owner Laura Sommer, adding, "it was also a very profitable experience."
