Long Island golf courses
Golfers from Manhasset to Montauk know there are days when the driver feels like a lead weight in your hands, when you’d rather swing on your front porch than swing that mighty club.
On those days, when the big dog just doesn’t behave, why not consider one of Long Island’s five par-3 courses? These courses feature at least nine holes reachable without the driver for players of modest abilities, but they are not just for beginners. Par-3 courses offer experienced players a chance to use subtle skill and short-game precision to reassert that missing confidence. So tee it high and let it fly.
