BASEBALL

LI MEN'S SENIOR BASEBALL LEAGUE / LI MEN'S ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE, Melville, 631-753-6725, msblnational.com. 150 teams, nearly 2,000 players; 18 and older, 25 and older, 35 and older, 45 and older and 52 and older. Season: Mid-April to mid-August. Fee: $120, including insurance, field rentals and year-end awards.

LONG ISLAND STAN MUSIAL LEAGUE, Selden, 631-696-0079, leaguelineup.com/lism11. More than 65 teams, aluminum and wood bat divisions. All ages. Games held in Nassau, Suffolk. Season: May-July; playoffs begin late July. Fee: $1,800 new team.

SUFFOLK COUNTY STAN MUSIAL LEAGUE, Selden, 631-696-0079, leaguelineup.com/lism11. Open to Long Island residents of all ages. 35 teams in aluminum and wood bat divisions based on ability. Season: Spring-summer session May-August; fall developmental league September-November. Fee: $1,600 per team.

BASKETBALL

Varsity high school league for juniors, seniors and recent grads. All games in evening at centrally located gyms. Fee: $120 per player, $850 per team; 8-game season; varsity H.S. league: $800 for team, $100 per player.

FOOTBALL

Coed adult league. NFL flag youth programs with no contract for ages 6-14 September-December. NASSAU COUNTY TOUCH FOOTBALL LEAGUE, 67 Barnes St., Long Beach, 516-889-9865, nctfl.com. Nation's oldest touch football league, in its 48th year; 28-36 teams (6-man), 3 divisions; 100-yard field; 12-game schedule includes preseason games, playoffs; televised championship games. Season: Late August-early December.

NS FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE, East Northport, 631-262-0543, nsflag.com. Competitive and recreational divisions. Teams, groups and free agents welcome. Weeknight games. Youth League 5-on-5 June 1, Sept. 5. Season: Starts June 1, Sept. 15, Dec. 10. Fee: $675 for 5-on-5 play (7-10-man roster), $100 per free agent.

LACROSSE

AMERICAN LACROSSE LEAGUE, americanlacrosseleague.org. Men's teams, Blue conference, NY East, NY West, 10 post-collegiate teams listed on website, 18 and older. Season: March 5-May 8; playoffs May 14-June 18. Fee: $250 per team.

RUGBY

LONG ISLAND RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB, East Meadow, 516-817-2623, lirugby.com. Competition: Men's, women's, youth teams (boys 19 and younger). Practice is at Burns Park in Massapequa; home field is in Massapequa. Youth teams based in Glen Cove. Season: All year. Fee: $125 per player per year.

SOCCER

LONG ISLAND HISPANIC SOCCER FEDERATION, 135 Elizabeth Ave., Hempstead, 516-902-8733. Bilingual, 64 men's teams (18 and older) in Nassau and Suffolk, 8 female teams (ages 15-21). Year-round indoor soccer. Hosts international professional soccer teams in September. Season: April-November every Sun. at Nassau and Suffolk locations. Fee: $1,000 per year per team.

LONG ISLAND LADIES SOCCER LEAGUE, Plainview, 631-588-3384, liladiessoccer.com. For women of various skill levels; 26 and older, 40 and older, and open divisions. Travel league across Nassau, Suffolk and occasionally Queens. Season: Summer session June-September; fall session September-November; summer and winter tournaments. Fee: Call.

LONG ISLAND MEN'S SOCCER LEAGUE, Levittown, 631-757-7495. 30 teams, 4 divisions for men older than 30 living in Nassau or Suffolk. Season: April-mid-June and mid-Sept.-mid-Nov. Fee: $150 per seasonal year; new teams add $100 bond.

LONG ISLAND SOCCER FOOTBALL LEAGUE, Hicksville, 516-433-1880, lisfl.org. Wed. and Fri. 7-10 p.m. and Sat. 10-2 p.m. 60-team men's soccer league, open and older-than-30 divisions, plays in fall on Sun.; younger-than-23 men's summer leagues. Teams must have field. Individuals welcome. Season: All year; winter tournaments indoors. Fee: Clubs (1 or more teams) pay about $2,500 (includes fees, insurance), $400 for summer younger than 23.

Spring and summer adult, women's and Junior Olympic youth leagues with 1,150 adults teams and 350 youth teams; adult and youth snowflake leagues plus girls ranging from 10 and younger through 18 and younger. Umbrella group certifies teams, tourneys, aids with schedules, umpires, insurance. Season: Late March-Labor Day; snowflake leagues September-November.
