4 Long Island restaurants serving great sliders

Nobody is quite sure where the slider craze started, but many point to White Castle, whose little burgers were reputed to be so greasy, they virtually slid down.
These days, just about anything may be tucked inside mini buns and termed sliders. Here are three versions of the many on Long Island.
At this Irish gastropub, chef Jonathan Chevlin serves up long-braised corned beef sliders as well as sliders filled with pulled pork with an Irish whiskey barbecue glaze. $9
