Addresses to remember -- or forget

I’m starting to lose count of all the Long Island restaurants named for their street addresses. The question arises as to whether the restaurateurs who came up with these numerical nomenclatures were lacking in imagination or just had faith in the public’s ability to remember a number.
Right now, we’re at 16 places and counting.
