Almond Restaurant & Bar, which earned three stars in Newsday this summer, is readying its annual Christmas Eve dinner, with 10 percent of  the revenue slated for a children's charity.

The Pajama Program is a not-for-profit organization that provides new pajamas and new books to children in need worldwide. In many cases, these children are waiting to be adopted.

This marks Almond's 10th annual Christmas Eve dinner. The kitchen will prepare roasted suckling pig with cabbage, caramelized apples and spaetzle. Cost: $31. Reservations recommended.

The restaurant's regular menu also will be available on Dec. 24.
