Andiamo, Mineola: Olympic specials

At Andiamo in Mineola, the summer Olympics will be on view in the restaurant's bar and lounge whenever there's an event or ceremony. 

If you eat at the bar or at any of the nearby tables in the lounge area during those events, you’ll get half off on drinks as well as on anything from the regular menu. Which means that an appetizer of shrimp and calamari that’s ordinarily $14.95 will cost $7.48. And an entree of wild Pacific coho salmon filet will run you $12.48 instead of $24.95.

The restaurant is also featuring an ongoing anytime “surf or turf” two-course menu, at $28.95 a person. Start with an organic baby green salad or soup, followed by an entree such as steamed twin Maine lobsters, lobster fra diavolo or pan-roasted filet mignon au poivre. Dessert is an extra $5
