The coal oven has been fired up at Long Island's newest branch of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, which just touched down outside MacArthur Airport, in Bohemia. There are now six locations on Long Island.

What a boon to both travelers and locals, who can order such dishes as the lively meatball ricotta pizza ($16.99 small; $19.99 large), unconventional cauliflower pizza ($18.99 small, $21.99 large), coal-oven-roasted chicken wings ($10.99 small; $18.99 large) and pork ribs with vinegar peppers ($11.99 small; $18.99 large).

The Florida-based chain received a three-star review back in 2011 and was named one of the  top 10 Cheap Eats restaurants of that year,

The chain was founded by former Long Islander Anthony Bruno, as well as former pro football star Dan Marino.
