Arthur Avenue comes to Smithtown

Although the new Arthur Avenue Restaurant & Bar, in the former location of Union Station, gets its name from a Bronx thoroughfare crammed with Italian restaurants, its menu is not exclusively Italian. Call it pub-style, global, American or whatever — bottom line is that it's wide-ranging and moderate in price.
Appetizers ($4.99-$11.99) include jalapeño poppers, pulled-pork sliders, house-made fresh mozzarella as well as hummus with grilled pita chips. In addition to a long list of wraps, panini, burgers and sandwiches ($8.99-$12.99), you'll find main dishes ($11.99-$19.99) like pot roast, chicken Francese, meat lasagna, and — yes, really! — General Tso's tuna.
