No more house special pork dumplings or redhead rolls. Newsday’s three-starred Asian-fusion restaurant, Nikita Japanese & Asian Restaurant in Massapequa, has closed.
Newsday praised the restaurant for the passion of chef-owner, Yunchang Zheng. “The soups are almost magical,” read the January review.
Having opened in 2015, it was a quick turnover of a location that had also hosted Amici Ristorante — not related to Caffe Amici in Selden or Amici in Mount Sinai — since 2007.
