Equipped with a sushi bar and a repertoire representing Japan, Malaysia and Thailand, Miyabi III Asian Cuisine has opened in the Williston Park space that last hosted Blue Sushi and, years before, Oliver Bon Dinant. The trim little spot is the third branch of a metro area chainlet with restaurants in Manhattan and Staten Island.

What makes this menu a little more interesting than many fusion restaurants is the presence of entree-sized noodle soups like Malaysian curry chicken noodle soup and Japanese nabe yaki udon soup. Also on the menu: beef negimaki, rock shrimp tempura, tom yum soup, Thai spicy mango chicken, shrimp tempura, rainbow roll, tuna tataki and chirashi. The menu tops out at $23.95 for steamed Chilean sea bass, with most every main course under $20.

Miyabi III Asian Cuisine is at 82 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, 516-248-2988
