Better act fast if you’re a fan of Pronto!, an Italian restaurant in Babylon. Saturday night, the place as it now is will cease to exist. Come Sunday, it will close down for about a week, while it undergoes a  “rebranding.”

Co-owner Gaspar Marrali said that he and his father, chef Anthony Marrali, felt it was time to “update, spruce up and go a different route.” Which means a new name — Bistro 111 — and what he called a “Continental bistro menu” featuring such dishes as pan-seared chicken breast with an herb, lemon and garlic sauce ($18); a “bistro” burger ($13), and “hand-stretched” pizzas ($10-$12). Also new will be tap beers with microbrews as well as a menu of beers from all over the world.

If all goes as planned, Bistro 111 should make its debut Aug. 1. It will serve dinner for the duration of the summer, adding on lunch in the fall.

Pronto!/Bistro 111 is at 111 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, 631-422-7955.
