Bad Dawgs in Huntington closes

Bad Dawgs, the takeout wiener spot on Gerard Street in Huntington Village, closed today.
The little storefront opened two years ago and, during its tenure, branched out from serving inventively topped hot dogs — all-beef as well as turkey and vegetarian — to also offering burgers. Last month, there was even a clam “dog” available, as a limited-time special.
