Established in 1962, Bagel Plaza claims to be the first bagel store on Long Island's South Shore. Back then, it was poppy, sesame or salt. Now, Bagel Plaza offers forty different bagels (regular, flat, twists and minis), bialys, challahs, ruggulah, muffins and rolls made from scratch every day as well as a full line of smoked fish, 12 flavored cream cheeses, 18 cold salads and French toast, blintzes, potato pancakes, knishes and French crepes.
Bagel Plaza has a large, pleasant dining room in which to enjoy the bounty.
