Long Island may not be the epicenter of dining out French, but there's more than a soupcon of choices where you may channel your inner Parisian. Here are four that raise the tricolor with flair on Sunday, July 14.
And if you're on the East End: Almond in Bridgehampton. The standout bistro prepares excellent roast chicken with garlicky potatoes, marinated hanger steak frites, chilled tomato soup, a Milk Pail apple crostada a la mode and a chocolate pot-de-creme with whipped creme fraiche.
