Beer here! Craft brew fest Saturday at Coliseum

The seventh Spring Craft Beer Festival pours Saturday into Nassau Coliseum.

More than 50 craft breweries are expected to participate in the March 9 event, showcasing 100-plus beers. Local breweries will take part. Montauk Brewing Co. is to make its festival debut.

There are two sessions: 12:30 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $45 each and may be purchased at www.springcraftbeerfestival.com with designated-driver tickets at $12 each.

You must be 21 years old and present a valid photo identification to attend.

The beer festival is sponsored by www.libeerevents.com and produced by Starfish Junction Productions. It's partly a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the  Beer for Brains Foundation.

Nassau Coliseum is at 1255 Hempstead Tpke., Uniondale.
