The Bell & Anchor in Sag Harbor, one of the summer's best openings, greets the cool weather with two fixed-price menus.

The year-round restaurant offers a two-course menu for $30 and a three-course one for $35 all night on Thursday and Sunday, as well as on Friday and Saturday until 6:30 p.m. Raw-bar specials include local Montauk oysters for $1.50 each; and local littleneck clams at $1 each.

Highlights of the fixed-price menus include brandade, the Provencal puree of salt cod, garlic and potatoes; steamed mussels with fries; arugula salad with goat cheese; flat iron steak frites with Bearnaise butter; and herb-crusted Duroc pork chop with mascarpone polenta and asparagus.

For a $10 supplement, you may choose B&A's excellent lobster Thermidor. The restaurant earned a three-star rating in Newsday.
