Add BeSi Pizzeria in Bethpage to the list of 2012 closings. Chances are good you never ate at the casual Italian eatery. Chances are also good you never saw it.
Situated behind H.R. Singleton’s (on the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Hicksville Road) in Bethpage, BeSi was well-hidden from street view. A shame, since its bright, puffy-crusted Margherita pizza was worth seeking out. So, too, its hearty meatball parm sliders.
What a difference a better sign — or a front entryway — might have made.
