Bollinger's in Farmingdale closes again

Bollinger’s Family Restaurant in downtown Farmingdale, which closed for two months last year and then reopened, is once again shut.

In 2011, the luncheonette was included in Newsday’s list of Long Island’s best BLTs. House-made ice cream had been a specialty at the site since its earlier — and longer — incarnation as Von Leesen’s.

What will go into the space remains to be seen.
