Randall Grahm,  the colorful and creative founder/winemaker of Bonny Doon Vineyards, will be the guest at a wine dinner Wednesday at Brewology, the new beer-centric gastropub in Speonk.

The cost of the dinner is $85 per person. Reservations are recommended. Call 631-801-6221. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.

Executive chef Lia Fallon's menu includes ceviche of octopus, shrimp and scallops, paired with the 2013 Bonny Doon Albarino; veal and spinach meatballs with egg noodles, and summer mushrooms, with the winery's 2011 Le Cigare Blanc and 2010 Le Cigare Volant; charred skirt steak, with the new-release 2012 Syrah “Le Pousseur;” and grilled peaches, with a new-release dessert wine,  the 2013 Vinferno.

Grahm, the winery's “president-for-life,” established Bonny Doon in 1983. The winery is based in Santa Cruz, California.
