Brooklyn brew, Huntington Station debut

Brooklyn Brewery's new Brooklyn Gold Standard lager will be among the beers poured this afternoon at Superstar Beverage in Huntington Station.
It's the local debut of this hoppy, unfiltered brew, which is part of the Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster's reserve series. Brooklyn Gold Standard is a springtime beer, the latest in the series. Other Brooklyn brews also will be available for tasting, including the golden Local 1, dark Local 2, and Soriachi Ace, a citrusy and malty production.
The tastings will he held from 4 to 7 p.m. today.
