Bulldog Grille
Casual and uncomplicated, the Bulldog Grille is good for an undemanding dinner and an equally easygoing lunch. There are few surprises and the ambition of the kitchen is pretty much held in check. The best advice is to go with the simplest fare. At lunch, that means the marinated, sliced steak sandwich with mozzarella and onions on garlic bread, or the 3-D club, with either roast beef or turkey. The grilled portobello mushroom sandwich, and the Caesar-chicken wrap provide the competition. For dinner, begin with spicy Buffalo-style chicken wings, Cajun-seasoned popcorn shrimp, or the roasted garlic and cilantro hummus with pita bread. Better main courses include the hanger steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms and the chicken Francaise.
