Cafe Dolce Vita
Cafe Dolce Vita functions both as a pizzeria and a restaurant. Aside from the standard Neapolitan and Sicilian pies, there are 10-inch pizzettes and specialty pies of which the white escarole is a standout. Also on offer are calzones, rolls and heroes.
In the attractive, raised "restaurant" dining room, antipasti include fried calamari, clams oreganate and eggplant rollatini. Some of the more unusual pastas are penne and melanzane (cubed fresh eggplant in tomato sauce), penne gamberi (with broccoli, shrimp and tomato) and rigatoni ai funghi e escarole (with escarole and mushrooms in a garlic-and-oil sauce). Entrees include various Parmigianas and Franceses.
