We have apparently passed the point where TV chefs can be ironically likened to theatrical performers. Because now they are theatrical performers. At least Buddy Valastro is. The Hoboken baker and star of TLC’s hit series “Cake Boss” will be appearing on April 29 at the NYCB Theater at Westbury where he will “share the stories behind his hit TV series and his colorful Italian family, answer audience questions, and give a live demonstration of the techniques that have made him one of the most successful and renowned cake artists in the nation.”
The show starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are $49.50 and $39.50 (plus service charges) and are available online at livenation.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Westbury box office. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75 which include a post-show meet and greet, limited edition tour mug, a souvenir tour lanyard and backstage pass, along with a 15 percent discount voucher at the Boss' own Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken.
NYCB Theatre at Westbury is at 960 Brush Hollow Rd., Westbury.
