Gone from the Great Neck restaurant mix is Caspian Grill, a little Persian-Mediterranean kebab house on Northern Boulevard near the Queens border.
Soon after the restaurant opened, back in 2010, I had a nice bowl of lentil soup and a well-seasoned koobideh (seasoned ground beef) kebab sandwich, both takeout orders.
