Chama Rodizio, the meat-centric restaurant that opened a little over a year ago in Glen Cove, has closed. Owners Cathy Broker and Joe Rosmaninho posted on Facebook that “after a long year of trying to keep our doors open, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of our lives and regretfully, we have closed our doors.”
They urged diners to visit them at their sister restaurant, Brasa Rodizio in Mineola.
Chama specialized in churrasqueira, traditional Portuguese-Brazilian barbecue meats. The restaurant succeeded Tappo and, before that, Epiphany, just north of the Glen Street LIRR station.
