Cheap steaks and an all-you-can-eat salad bar were the main draws at Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse, with branches in Commack, Holtsville and Garden City Park.
All three Long Island branches are now closed, as the New Jersey-based parent company tightens its belt and does away with 29 restaurants. As of the moment, there are 20 remaining – two in upstate New York, one in Pennsylvania and the rest in New Jersey.
Long Islanders, however, will have to seek sirloin elsewhere.
