Roosevelt Field has become known, of late, as a dining destination. Just when you think that the mall couldn’t host one more eating spot, along comes yet another: Chipotle Mexican Grill.
The national chain, known for its careful sourcing of ingredients and a locavore sensibility, is situated on the main level, across from Skinny Pizza. Here, you move along a line and select components of your burrito, taco (hard or soft corn), salad or “bol.” Protein choices include spicy, dark meat chicken; barbacoa (spicy shredded beef braised with chipotle); and carnitas (highly seasoned seared and braised pork). Entrees run $6.95 to $7.35.
Chipotle Mexican Grill at Roosevelt Field is at 630 Old Country Rd., Garden City, 516-539-3950, chipotle.com.
