Cinco de Mayo specials @ Besito

Besito Mexican restaurants in Huntington and Roslyn are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with specials on the plate and in the glass.

In Huntington, diners can expect such dishes as crisp duck tacos with chipotle salsa and toasted sesame seeds; shrimp sauteed with toasted garlic and chiles; and soft-corn tortillas packed with shredded short rib, chorizo and Serrano escabeche, baked in roasted tomato-epazote salsa.

In Roslyn, the additions to the menu include a mixed grill of pork chop, chicken, chorizo and shrimp; and pan-seared shrimp and lobster finished with pineapple-and-jalapeno aioli.

Both eateries are offering watermelon and fruit margaritas for $12; and two-for-one beers from 5 to 7 p.m.
