The economy has claimed yet another restaurant. This time, it’s Bella Vita City Grill, an Italian-New American dining spot in St. James, which opened back in 1996.

Chef co-owner Anthony Cambria posted this message on the restaurant’s Facebook page: “We'd like to thank our loyal customers for 15 great years! Due to economic circumstances out of our control, we were forced to close the restaurant as of Sunday, September 18th. Please stay a fan of our page, so you can stay connected with us. My plan is to resurface in the neighboring areas and reinvent a whole new concept. Once I know you will know. . .”

Keeping a lookout for updates.
