The barbecue biz on LI is a hot potato. The latest to go up in smoke is the four-month-old Big Apple BBQ in Glen Cove, along with its Port Washington spinoff, which opened in July.
Forgive me for not seeing the logic of opening a second restaurant when the first is struggling to stay alive. Even so, it’s sad to see such a crash and burn.
