Spiro’s, a Greek restaurant on Route 27 in Southampton, has closed. The place first opened in 2012 as Greek Bites Grill but subsequently changed its name. It occupied the site that, for years, hosted Meson Ole.
On its menu were such dishes as grilled octopus, pastitsio, lamb chops and whole grilled fish.
The restaurant was a spinoff of the more reasonably priced Greek Bites Grill & Cafe in Moriches, which remains open. It had no affiliation with Spiro's, still up and running in Rocky Point.
