Closed: Lounge Burger in Wantagh

Sad to report the closing of Lounge Burger in Wantagh, a spot that seemed to have much promise but didn’t make its first anniversary.

Was it the economy, the location, or simply that the place tried to do too much, featuring both a bar scene and a kid-friendly vibe? All I know is that they served a deliciously steak-y burger and “hand-pressed” fries I found seductive and toasty-sweet.
