Closed: Nautilus Diner, Massapequa Park

A wistful e-mail from an Amityville reader told of the closing of the Nautilus Diner in Massapequa Park.

“They were a mainstay with friendly staff, fabulous burgers and great grilled cheese at 2:00 in the morning,” he wrote. “We all have our favorite diners, and it's a shame when they close.”

Too true.
