Get ready for a fourth restaurant from Emilio Branchinelli, whose current enterprises include Emilio’s in Commack as well as Pasta Eria and Fanatico, both in Hicksville.

The new place, to debut in Carle Place this fall, is called Passione. Situated across from Roosevelt Field, it shares a parking lot with LL Dent, Lemonleaf Grill and Red Lobster.

Branchinelli’s menu (which is also set to go into effect soon at the Commack location) will feature some new pizzas and pastas, as well as a greater emphasis on “healthy” items, such as grilled fish.

When it opens, the place will have a pizzeria on one side, as well as a braciole, sausage and pepper stand. The dining room — with natural stone floors and antique gold lamps — will have what Branchinelli called an “old fashioned Italian” look in beiges, browns and golds — “Tuscan colors.” Out back will be tables for outdoor dining.

Overall, Branchinelli said, the tone of the place will be very casual, with the average per-person check coming in under $25.

Passione will be at 231 Old Country Rd., Carle Place, 516-741-4800 (not yet in service)
