If all goes as planned, a new Italian restaurant, Andrea’s 25,  should make its debut this month in the newly renovated Commack space once home to Red Dish.

The place is owned by cousins Salvatore Sorrentino and Peter Campisi, who are also its co-chefs. They named the restaurant in honor of Salvatore’s father Andrew (Andrea, in Italian), who, along with his brother Matty Sorrentino, cofounded the Matteo’s all- family-style restaurants.

The menu will showcase such Italian classics as fried calamari, pasta with meatballs and sausage and chicken scarpariello, along with such inventions as the dish Sorrentino named as a signature, chicken Valenti — chunks of white meat chicken breast in a sweet Grand Marnier sauce with sauteed red bell peppers and onions over roasted red bliss potatoes.

Andrea’s 25 is at 6300 Jericho Tpke., Commack, 631-486-7400.
