Crazy Beans is now open in Greenport.

Greenport Village just got a little crazier with the opening on Wednesday of Crazy Beans. The breakfast-lunch-coffee spot takes over the corner location that, from 1949 until earlier this year, was the Coronet Luncheonette.

This is the third location of Crazy Beans for owners Callie and Tim Martino. The original opened in Miller Place in 2012; the second, in Stony Brook in 2014.

The Martinos kept the Coronet’s layout — counter stools along one wall and against the windows, booths along another wall and tables in the middle — but the shop now features Crazy Bean’s trademark black-and-white checkerboard floor, white-and-lipstick red tables, chairs and accents. Customers looking for the trademark mismatched mugs and plates and whimsical salt and pepper shakers will not be disappointed.

The breakfast menu features eggs, waffles, pancakes and French toast with many dishes showcasing Crazy Beans’ exuberant touch: a pancake “quesadilla” stuffed with eggs, bacon, sausage and cheese ($13.95); cannoli-stuffed French toast ($11.95); “morning meltdown” omelet featuring egg whites, turkey, spinach, avocado, Cheddar with Crazy Beans sauce. Toast is sliced double thick.

Lunch sandwiches include the “crazy Cuban” with roast pork, smoked ham, fried pickles, Swiss cheese and mustard ($10.95) and a grilled cheese filled with bacon jam and Gorgonzola ($9.95). The Crazy Beans salad includes mixed beans, chick peas, dried cranberries, feta, romaine and balsamic vinaigrette ($8.95).

There are dozens of coffee drinks plain (Colombian drip) and fancy (iced salted caramel latte).

Crazy Beans, open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, is at 2 Front St., Greenport, 631-333-2436, crazybeansrestaurant.com
