If you’ve been waiting for the warm weather reopening of D’Angelo’s Sausage & Pepper House in Huntington Station, the news isn’t good. The place is now empty, no longer plastered with signs promising a summer comeback. A call to the former phone number elicited a disconnect message.
The place had originally opened as Francesco's of New York under the ownership of Angela and Gary D'Angelo, who own two hot dog trucks in Queens. Their big, fat garlicky franks were featured in a ”Top Chef” Quickfire challenge several years ago.
D'Angelo's Sausage & Pepper House was at 918 E. Jericho Tpke., Huntington Station.
