Denny's (in Centereach)

With 1,500 branches, Denny’s just may be the nation’s largest full-service family restaurant chain. Look out Long Island, because this Monday, at 8 a.m., the chain launches its first local  spot, in the Centereach Mall.

To celebrate, there's going to be a giveaway: the first hundred tables will get a book of 52 coupons, one for each week of the year, for a free “Grand Slam” breakfast.

What’s a Grand Slam? Two eggs, two links of sausage, two pieces of bacon and two pancakes.  It's a grand slam, all right, straight to the arteries.
