Dosa Diner in Hicksville: Closed during renovation

Driving through Hicksville the other night, I couldn’t help but notice that Dosa Diner had gone dark.
Not a permanent situation, I was assured during a telephone conversation with owner Ashok Kumar Natraj, who also owns the nearby Copper Wok. Natraj said he’s hoping to reopen the place within the next month or so, after the remodeling of the restaurant's kitchen. Natraj also added another dining room by expanding into the vacant storefront next door.
There’s more. When it reopens, the vegetarian eatery should also be kosher. Natraj said he is currently in the process of seeking certification.
